When Can a Qur'an Be Repaired? Assessing Damage and Longevity

When Replacement Becomes Necessary
When entire surahs are missing, extensive water or mold damage has obliterated the ink, or the paper fibers have become too brittle to hold stitching, repair may no longer be practical.
